I think if a business can't handle a little competition, it wasn't a very strong business in the first place. Which is why I favor doing away with "crony capitalism" but not doing away with free market capitalism.

Freedom from being thrown in jail, killed and having your livelihood ruined just because the government doesn't like what people are doing doesn't necessarily mean freedom from consequences. I like Roger Ver's bounty site simply because it'll give people incentive to track down and expose the bad actors so people with common sense will know not to do business with them. "Naming and shaming" does have its benefits.

I am not entirely sure what P2P has to do with AI, unless you mean that AI could be decentralized. Which would make it harder to shut down the AI if something goes wrong.

Regarding programming, I'd say the opposite, it's getting more and more difficult as there are more and functions.

ok so there is no ounce of negativity from this forum about it.  I wonder what happens if I take this to a political forum.  cause I am looking for honest answers. not a pro p2p answer.  It seems no one is seeing the dangers of something that cant be shutdown or controlled.

Things are getting out of hand because technology is advancing faster than it can be regulated and integrated correctly.
But that shouldnt stop us from making progress, even if that means that some people will loose their jobs, but i rather believe that the pay for those jobs will be lowered
to compensate, instead of loss of jobs.
With each tech inovation, some businesses were closed, and others emerged from the inovation, same thing is happening with p2p, and decentralisation.

I don't think that we're anywhere near the danger zone. P2P has gotten us so many things, so having a side effect with that is normal.

To make an AI, we would have to create a computer that is aware that it exists. This means that you do not program a robot to eat, you let it learn that on it's own.
Humanity won't achieve this soon. Our robotics are lacking and so is software. The technology development must take on a quicker pace if we want this to be done in the near future. By then we would probably be able to digitize our minds or at least be close to achieving it.

It's not released yet. Firstly this product might go completely wrong. Remember the recently released smart ring? It was all great on paper, using it was horrible.
I'd buy this only if they could assure me that all Jibo records is fully encrypted and will have no information leaking to the outside. This would be a great tool for NSA after all.
Anyhow this is nowhere near a real AI. It's like a moving beefed up version of Google Now/Siri.

Also I don't see a "website that can a devs job" coming up anytime soon. Do you know how many programing languages there are? Do you know how complicated it is to build a custom, quality website?
