    Hello, I'm ngzhang, founder of Avalon ASIC project, CEO of Canaan-Creative Co.,Ltd.

    We developed the first ASIC chip for Bitcoin mining and shipped the first mining machine to the community. We are still making efforts in this area.

    We will answer anything we know about the current status and trend of mining machines, farm and BTC adoption, etc. See you at the AMA later!

    On reddit!?!? I mean, I know who you guys are, impressive work back in 2013! Being the first to do this - among ASICMiner, maybe. But do you think that people on reddit will be interested in something this technical and Bitcoin-related?

    Good Q&A read - I've learned China's average electricity rate is around $0.05 which is roughly half to 1/4 of average e-rate in US and Europe. No wonder there is a mining boom in China.
