Okay mine connected finally and all I had to do was get rid of the :8333 at the end of the addnode= in the conf file and apparently according to my wallet we are on like block 7 or so

yes but after the setgenerate true you put either a -1 or a 1 don't you? I'm just curious which one it is?

LMAO I'm not fiddling man I just thought I remembered someone saying earlier that you had to put either a -1 or a 1 after the setgenerate true to make sure that your computer was using everything running for your miner lol
