Not really, but in the bts wallet there are options to deposit real btc and get for example OPEN.BTC(IOU BTC so you can trade in the DEX) also you can sell your bts in the wallet(DEX) for OPEN.BTC and then withdraw them as BTC in your bitcoin wallet address in you PC or to an exchange like Poloniex. Keep in mind that liquidity is low right now in the DEX.

you can actually sell them and get some BitShares - I think it's like a faucet to help get you a feeling of the trading engine and some assets to play around with

OBITS is a great asset if you plan to invest into it for long term. Price have remain stable between $0.09 - $0.10 range so it could definitely be worth it to hold them as long as you like. I remember when OBITS were worth $0.07 each and look at them now.
