I bought my first BTC off localbitcoins but my first meaningful purchase was a Gox a few months before they went belly up.

Nice idea! Get paid in btc! The only problem is to find who can pay but it's not a bad idea!!!

my first bitcoin came from a signature campaign. because i have no investment that i can use for buying bitcoins. i think signatue campaign is the best way of earning bitcoin because it needs no investment.

You need a good  rank account to join a campaign and for that  you need an investment, I don't know how you started without an investment.

I click for them on btcclicks. I think they are still up & running. That got me to start into bitcoin.
I think it was only $0.25 worth of bitcoin but it was har to get it. Took almost three weeks to make a lot of clicks so to cash out them 

When I learned about Bitcoin, I used to earn them from faucets.

And when I became interested to create my own faucet I exchanged my fiat money to bitcoin.

So my first bitcoin came from exchanging fiat currency. 

On my long experience in here in the crypto space, I first received my bitcoin through bounty campaigns or signature campaigns. ICOs are one of the best sources of income during that time and I received huge amount of profit from it but unfortunately such ways is not effective nor recommendable anymore right now. It was due to the sudden increase of scam campaigns that destroyed the reputation and trust of many towards bounty campaigns. Though I wasn't paid directly in the form of bitcoin, I immediately convert my profits to it as soon as I receive it.

Sheeesh, people already joining signature campaigns since the forum inception and earning big BTCs.

Well, I got mine from laptop mining but didn't know what I was actually mining.
