That is true,, I too never see myself doing earning bitcoin in my entire life...I would be working with a day job in the future,, though this could be a help to me today, but I don't think that this would be enough in the future.. 

Its possible but not many people can do it, I think its better as a side thing you do after work.
So you will still gain money monthly so you will not get poor if the bitcoin fall.

You can full time in bitcoin if you have a skills like making a site that you can build a business online also you can offer you skills in services section for extra income.. if you really want to full time in bitcoin and to live make sure that you can multi tasking.
If you are just in one job collecting bitcoin you can live without a real job..

Definitely not, unless its part of my retirement fund. Theres a difference between investment and current cash flow.

I never expect I will earn Bitcoins or any Altcoins so I can stop working in the future. But we will see what happens next few years. The future or bright you know.
