It is so simple, if you are just investing then no need for you to leave your day job, you will only leave your job when are having a steady income in the bitcoin world and you are earning more than your earning on your daily job.

$1k is possible in next 1 or 2 years but $10k will really take a long time, and even if it touches $1k its good not to quit your job as no one knows how long it will stay at $1k.

What would you do in case your country ban bitcoin in next six months, or you start making losses in btc or you started gambling with btc ? So instead do your job and on holidays you can trade or whenever you get time.

Thats very good plan,mining ethereum is more profitable for today knowing that it is popular coin to mine by many miner since the blocks for bitcoins is harder to find, and also thats a lot of power you need to achieve their well goodluck for that dude i really can say thats long profitable business coming for you In near future.



Leaving our current job and focus in bitcoin is not really the smartest way of thinking for us if we are only low ballers in bitcoin industry because we cannot really gaurantee that we can get money in our daily wandering in bitcoins world thats why id rather focus on job what i have today and do bitcoins at the same time so by that i can have two salaries incoming to my pocket monthly.

To become rich in future, I think we should combine both the income, as if price of bitcoin goes higher in future then it can be an added advantage, but no need to quit your regular job.

I think trading is a safety way to earn bitcoin now if you are very skillfull trader,with big knowledge about it.If you trade without knowledge,
and without some good strategy,you will always loose in a long term investment.
In the terms of topic,im pretty sure i would do this getting payed in bitcoin is something i love.

@terman i think it's depending about "what your job, how much your salary" , for me if resign from my realjob make me "free" to build "new life, new step" to be rich, i will resign from my realjob.

Yes its too risky to quit daily job and depend only on bitcoin, as price volatility of bitcoin will never allow you to earn stable income so our income will depend on price of bitcoin that is really bad.

I have a story that I recently heard. Friends of my friend gone to live in Thailand (or Vietnam I forgot where exactly), so they sold their flat in Russia and moved to live in Asia and bought a house there for the money that they get from selling their flat here. And now they live there, half of the year already, and making money from commenting and poker for BTC and those money are enough for food and tax and some other daily things.
So somebody can stay daily job and to concentrate on bitcoin only.
