It's going to be very tough for Sri Lanka as this pitch is known for greenly pace friendly. New Zealand bowlers will have more advantages over Sri Langa bowlers. But so far Sri Lanka managed to score briskly to pass 250. I believe 300 must be a good score for them in first innings.

Rain washed out the rest of play for day one. Just before the rain arrived, New Zealand took the domination by picking 3 quick wickets and broke the 100+ long threatening partnership between Mathews and Siriwardana. But remaining 4 days of play are more than enough for New Zealand to win this match.

i think that in this test match we can see lot of drama due to rain affects, if tommorrow srilanka bat for another 2 session then we can see the new zealand odd moving up and draw odd coming down. i think sri lanka will show some batting and bowling skill .

But those late strikes have brought NZ right back in this test match. Today NZ bowling consistency was not good, especially against their own standards. But they will be looking to mop up the final three wickets and start batting tomorrow as soon as possible. If SL take some good lead in this innings than they have chance to make this series 1:1

ya if they suceed to score more than 350+ and then take some wicket in starting then the new zealand battsman will panic and srilanka  can take the oppurtunity and level the series 1-1 , it all depends on tommorrow first session if their is no wicket in first session then we can see odd jumping as market will favour in draw. that is the time we can bet on newzeland

Just checked the weather forecast for next couple of days for Hamilton, NZ and it doesn't shows any rain, just some cloud and so we can expect to not get any more interruptions but it is still very difficult to predict which way this match is going but it will definitely go to the 5th day in my view.

Yes, that is correct. New Zealand is now trailling by 231 runs in there first innings but all 10 wickets are still remaining. Unless SL pickup wickets faster and regular, NZ will surely make a huge total in this innings. But still chances this match may end in draw if again rain disturb the match regularly. Now already one and half day match finish and NZ need to score runs faster to win in this match.
