    Well, there are many things that people are rewarded for doing, but are ethically/morally unsound. At least on an emotional and empathetical level, the majority of people would not be very happy to see the slaughter of thousands of children (I realize I'm using appeal to emotion, but bear with me) but there could be someone who finds that "right". Incest is wrong (in most people's eyes) but it could be "right" for those who are committing it. Why else would they do it?

    It's not intrinsically right if it feels right.


    [But in my opinion, I have no problems with gambling]

    Gambling is only wrong if you accept that other people's commands make it wrong. Everyone involved in a bet are so completely voluntarily and because choose to do so.

    I have been gambling I guess since I was 8. Haha! Mahjongg to be specific. I never believed that Gambling is wrong. Gambling Addiction is a different story to the point of selling everything you have. I mean, everything that you do excessively is bad. Most of the time. Gambling is recreation not a hobby and not a source of living (some does though). Gambling is something that you do for fun, thus winning is a big side benefit. Gambling is never wrong as long as you know when to stop. Smiley

    But some people are in there voluntarily, but it's because they can't stop; they are addicted! Then, that is wrong, even if the people who are playing are in there "voluntarily."

    Because it's risky.. if one wins a little then try for more if one loses then we try to recover and eventually losing all the money get it? you wouldn't understand unless you lose significant amount, the risk is too much.

    The payout is normally really good to entice gamblers in. But once in, it is hard to stop and you become addicted. Once addicted you cannot control the money you put in it and you may lose a lot. That is how gambling is bad. It makes people lose control of their money. They continue betting even in their losing streak. Though some people can control it, but there are only a few of them. Majority of us cannot control it.

    It depends on how you look at it. Some people are rich because they gambling and they have won a lot of money so that is good.
    But some people lose also a lot of money with gambling and that is not good. I hope that more people will realize that gambling is very bad.

    so you can control yourself in gambling and play it wisely. it's clearer now. but there is still an unclear thing, it's the boost you talked about, that i have no idea what it is.

    But other people see gambling very wrong because they lost a lot of money from it and that is not good.

    you're right, which you get from gambling is wrong, it is better not to use because many people who say that the money from gambling it can make life difficult, but it all depends on the choice and trust each bro

    That's what I think too, it depends on the outcome or on our experience in gambling.. if we find benefit from gambling, it will turn out to be good and if we were busted and lost some of our coins in it, we will say that its not good or the site cheated...

    It is wrong. You will only get poor of it and you will also waste time on it and that is not good. You just can gamble a little bit, that is okay.
    But dont spend all your money in it, it is not good. I hope that more people will realize that gambling is very bad to do.

    You can say that. But the fact that its existing makes people addicted and lose tons of money makes it bad. Even if it just starts as an entertainment or a way to past time, it still gets people hooked on it. It is like drugs. So if drugs are bad, so you can also say that gambling is bad.

    gamble is not wrong however being a gambler well become you wrong especially if you become addicted on it.
