I have to be honest. Bitcoin isn't even close to what "real" money means to me. Bitcoin is so much more than money....it's a movement....it's a community....`it's an inspiring innovation that has the potential to equal out the shortcomings "real" money has provided us.
Pointing out my opinion above, I do spend my bitcoin differently than I spend my USD. My USD pays for my houses and cars and taxes and bills and pizzas and beers. But, I splash my bitcoin into worthy projects that might make a difference in other's lives, or invest in ideas that have the potential to generate innovative solutions to contemporary problems. So, I do invest my bitcoin into some risky projects because I believe that Bitcoin has the unique ability to promote change in areas not possible with government regulated currency.
When you say more than money i would add that bitcoin is a platform.
It works totally different from the 'real money' which is controlled by institutions.
Personally since bitcoin is easy to be converted to fiat i still consider is as a good real money.
