In terms of offense Russell can fill that up as he's also a good offensive type of a player, but in defense I guess that will be so tough to fill up as KD stand tall and have a good IQ in terms of stopping opponents attack and a big help with their rebounding stats., we all knew how big the slot that's being left both by KD and Iggy, but adjustment will happen for sure.

The Stars will need to fill each others lapses and the system should be fit to everyone, the Warriors always find ways lets wait and see how this team will show up this coming season without those Stars inside their lineup.

Warriors now lack offensive power because Kevin Durant was not into them anymore?  Sounds funny! They were able to reach the finals 2 consecutive times prior to Kevin Durant's arrival and others will say that Warriors is now done? Warriors still have their original drafts that made the team reach the top.

And why feel sad about that? Don't you want a balance and much of a close game challenge between two teams? Talented players should be spread out in different teams especially in the low-rank teams. I miss the old times where it's unpredictable who will reach the Finals.

Competitive? I don't think so.

There are teams that are now studded with good players, despite not being an all-star. LA Lakers has great players now with the addition of AD, they are now the favorite of the next season. Zion is also one of the new bloods that they are looking at now, but for now, I am still looking at Giannis.

I also think this is one of the reasons why Durant left. When they won 4-0 against Portland, lots of GSW fans says 'do we really need KD"? But KD keeps his cool and even went to the heights of playing and got injured again. It's a good thing they are parting ways without any issue unlike when KD leaves OKC. Now, there are another contender for Finals in East. Let's see if KD can lift Brooklyn all the way to Eastern Finals because pretty sure Warriors still can do it without him. Now East became more unpredictable.

What he really need by now is to absorb the chemistry that the GSW had. I dont think it is that hard. A lot of players came in and out to that team and they did pretty well.
I am more worried about the switches in defense.
Remember, offense always attack Steph Curry. He shouts on the floor for switches if he is on a mismatch. I guess Russell just need to know about that since offense will be easy for the team.
Defense still wins a championship.

Still no news about Kawhi.

Of course, before Russell showed quite good results and really was considered one of the most promising players, but today there is a lot of information that he himself confirms on the field, which suggests that his game practically buries all the future results of his team.

GSW is a super team because of their impressive teamwork. It is not just because of KD. Before KD, GSW is already a super team. KD is their cheat code.


I am still waiting for one player to sign a contract before I can say that next season is a balanced competition. If Kawhi signed to Lakers, the superteam power will shift to Lakers. Kawhi needs to sign to another team before we can say that there is some balance.

I hate to ruin the fun of all warriors bandwagoners for the past 5 years but this is not the same as 2015 championship. That year you had Harrison Barnes on your small forward, who you gonna have this year? Quintin Cook? I don't think so, that year you had Draymond playing like the best defender on the face of the earth, he is older and much worse right now, that year you had Iggy that literally became the FMVP at the end of the season, you don't have him and he is also very old, Livingston is probably gone or even if he stayed then he is very old.

Basically, all you have is Curry+DLO+Injured Klay+Worse Dray and some bench scrubs. Warriors is not even a contender in my eye this season, they are not making headlines at all, they are not making the finals neither.
