Support by fans could make the team morale go up and could make the team go work harder. I think this is a reason for teams that are on the streak. Lack of support from the local fans. This is actually sad for players.
Having the support from the fans boost the morale of the team specially on crucial games. Every cheer from the fans is an additional energy to push through and win the game for every team and players. That's how the fans played as the sixth man on the court.
I doubt this has any changes in the league, its a preseason game and nobody really plays properly in preseason games we all know that, hell we have seen drunk players come to preseason games and barely get any minutes because he was drunk.
Long story short Lakers look good, they have a decent team, they are definitely going to make a big splash this season for sure but Warriors are not as bad as they looked in this game, they still don't have Klay back and he will be back by playoffs, plus Curry was just having fun obviously, dude started the game with literally half court contested shot, that was hilarious. When the league starts again Warriors will be a top 5 west team for sure.
Lebron may not be PG though, he played point forward once again but they had Rondo so Rondo will probably play make more than Lebron.
