I'm cheering for Toronto, but I really don't think any of these games will be close if JV doesn't return soon.
Without an inside presence beyond Biyombo, we're exposed. If we try to limit the perimeter, they just drive it in. If we cheat on the inside, we get exploited by the 3 point specialists on the Cavs.
Not a great match up at all for Toronto.
He is a big factor but Im sure CAVS exactly know how to cover the hole even he's on the floor. If we see their recent game, most CAVS able to control all the spots- perimeter, outsides and the most important, the paint. Also some of CAVS players can do multiple roles to that three spots either it's of offense and defense and the best example for that is Lebron James.
This will really be a tough game for the Raptors. I think Raptors can do some regular ISO's inside or in perimeter (no penetration) especially for DeRozan but it will just be effective if CAVS won't always do some help defense. It's the same in Kevin Durant's plays in the remaining minutes of their previous game on GSW last Game 1 but unfortunately he just shoot at 0/5 fgs in his 5 consecutive shots but it's effective since he uses his height. Thoughts?
