GSW is complete, not just shooters, they have good defenders too. Even Steph's defense is underrated, how many rebounds does the got in the last 2 games? yeah, more than Wiggins if I'm not mistaken. And his body now is different, he is no longer relying in his shooting, he usually drive more now and absorb the contact because he has the body to do so. So for the Mavs to win, someone other than Luka should score 30 or more points per game. GSW shooters are going to kill them in this series, (Steph, Klay and Poole and then we have Wiggins and Porter who play a very important role).

I definitely don't think you can put the blame on Luka.  The fact is that Luka is the #1 threat on the Mavericks so defenses are literally setup just to keep him from putting up huge numbers.  The Warriors have 3 major threats to score now with Steph, Klay, and now Poole.  It's hard for defenses to cope.  Not to mention the Warriors have Draymond to setup plays for the scorers while Luka has to be the playmaker and the scorer for his team. 

I agree that the Warriors just have the matchup advantage.  The Mavericks need a couple more years to build and get more talent around Luka.  I don't doubt Mark Cuban will figure out a way to get it done.

No bet today. I was thinking of -6.5 Boston Celtics. But it seems very likely that Kyle Lowry and P.J. Tucker will be playing today. Although the Celtics are still favorites to win this game but I am not sure if they can cover the spreads. It could be close if Kyle Lowry plays at a high level and with PJ Tucker also becoming more familiar in defending Jayson Tatum.

My heart is like rooting for Miami but my head is picking Boston. Head to head I believe Boston is the better team. And they are enjoying a homecourt lead now after managing to take game 2.

This was supposed to be an easy for Celtics as a lot of punters and bookies have supposed but the Heat came out in terrific form and firing on all cylinders, with Adebayo having a great game so far, Lowry have also helped well, but he's definitely not 100% fit. Heat dominated the Celtics in all aspect of the game for most of the first half, but thanks to a 10-run to close the 2nd quarter the Celtics were able to reduce the deficit to 15 points. That'd surely keep the game more open for them in 3rd quarter compared to a 26 point lead.

^^ There's no "Warrior like comeback", from Boston. The Heat manages to hold them off and win the 4th quarter with good defense.

What a solid game from Bam, tonight, he leads the Heat with 31 points and 10 rebounds. Kyle Lowry played limited minutes but it was enough to help the Heat as well with 11. Brown taking over with the absence of Tatum with 40 big points but it wasn't enough.

No Butler in the 2nd half and that is why the Celtics made a run to get close with the lead. It even went to a point with just 1 point deficit and the Celtics fans are getting louder.
Max Strus though shut them up with a dagger of three pointer. He surely stepped up his game with 4/7 at 3-pt line and including Adebayo who punished the Celtics in the paint. Impressive adjustment from the Miami coaching staff.

I was waiting for Warriors and Heat both to start to their series by 2-0 but it didn't happen for Heat. However Heat had their third game against Celtics away last night. And to be honest I wasn't expecting Heat to win this one after seeing Celtics' very solid performance in their second game. But they surprised me and won by 109-103. There was a huge competition between Jaylen Brown and Bam Adebayo in this game. Brown scored 40 points and Adebayo answered by 31 points. Now Heat are leading by 2-1 and the series is getting more interesting.

Don't worry about that, game 4 will be different as the Celtics will make sure they'll even the series. The line still at -7, that says a lot that Celtics is going to win but not sure if they could cover the spread. I hope Smart is going to play though, he fall hard but able to got up and finish the game, the team needs him in game 4.

I hope he is okay, both Tatum and Smart finish the game, but if they are indeed injured and not available in game 4, then I think this series already belongs to the Heat. Physical game is the brand of Miami Heat, so Celtics has to respond to that and be more physical, that's the only way they can win.
