That 21 point run by the Knicks to end the game was a statement… I’m watching the Lakers and Timberwolves now. The Lakers got off to a quick head start with Luka doing most of the scoring but the Timberwolves just made a comeback to take the lead. It’s still early but it’s looking like anybody’s game at the moment.

The problem wasn't just the Luka trade though, people has to know that. Dallas wasn't the same team, and also Kyrie was missing too, if they had Kyrie, they could have gone to playoffs, and beat Memphis too. While they would probably not be in the finals, how many teams goes to finals two years in a row? AD did alright, so they have a good base, and if Kyrie comes back, and they do a few good FA signings, then I would assume they could actually do better next season.

Miami put years between their finals, but they built a good culture, Dallas may do that too. Luka on the other hand was a mistake of course, just because they made one mistake, they aren't this bad, they did a mistake but also had a injured superstar.

And I think that's what their critics has been saying, that outside of Luka, Lebron and Reaves there are no one going to score for them. And it's proven in this game, for me in order to win this series, Gabe Vincent and DFS will have to step up and then their other role players.

They can't just allow the Wolves to out hustle them in their one homecourt, and I do not think that Edwards was able to get into their minds. But I'm still thinking that the Lakers are going to bounce back in the second game to even the series.

It's very hard to say as well that even if Kyrie is present in that game that the result will be different, maybe it could be as Kyrie is also very competitive and together with Davis they might be hard to beat. But it's possible as well that they will lose the game.

There is a report that Kyrie might be back January next year or at least that is the date. So let's hope that everything is on schedule and that he can get back as early as that time.


It's their culture, coach Spo, Pat Riley and everyone, so it's very different for them even though that Butler is no longer with them as they have move already and now in the playoffs without him and Herro taking the role now as their leader.

Clippers do a good job on the game 1 since they are leading the game until the last quarter when Nugget manage to cling and get the lead. Clippers manage to hold and force OT but they fall short on the OT.

A very close match and the most entertaining game today. Zubac do an impressive job to guard Jokic and stop him to record more points that’s why this game became so close.

A bad start by Lakers to the series against Timberwolves.    Doncic did his best and played really good truthfully. But man, LeBron was just horrible... He played with a really low percentage on FG and 3P both.

These teams finished regular season with similar statistics in fact. This is why I can't be sure of Lakers to advance easily. They need the Doncic - LeBron partnership working smoothly in the upcoming games.

Coach Spoelstra’s knows how to maximize his roster even when they’re not at full strength. They might be overlooked but I wouldn’t count them out just yet. It could turn into a classic battle if Miami finds their rythm.

Cavs are hungry to prove their worth especially Donovan Mitchell.  This could be his redemption arc if he steps up and delivers big moments. It will silence critics who doubt his ability to lead a team into the playoffs.

If Miami wants to win this game, they should find a way to disrupt Cleveland’s game plan and force Mitchell into tough situations.

Especially bad when you consider how much more the Lakers benefit from the long break before game 2.  I think they blew a chance to get off to a good start here and then recover.

I did watch a dog hitting a ball into trash can to decide how the series will go...  For the record, the dog predicted the Timberwolves would win games 1 and 5 before losing game 6 and ultimately the series 4-2.  I guess we'll see if the Lakers can win the next 3 and keep the dog's prediction alive.

It would be sad if we see Lakers out early in playoffs. But I still want to believe in them to do better than this. I want to watch Doncic and LeBron more. Since Doncic signed for Lakers the team have had their best times. This is the obvious truth.

Their performance in Western Conference during regular season was promising too. I think they will eliminate Timberwolves by 4-2 or 4-3. They are going to face the winner of Rockets-Warriors series in that situation.

Sorry to disagree but if Heat wins one game, I'd be surprised. Cavs are amazing this season as everyone knows and their style of play will most probably transfer to the playoffs as well. I like the Miami Heat since the bubble but it will be immensely hard for them to survive against the Cavs.

I would like to see Lakers more also only because of the Doncic situation. He might be the most interesting player right now due to the circumstances. But their performance in the first game against the Wolves  was a disgrace. Almost no score contribution from the players other than the core three, Bron-Luka-Reeves. There has to be much more help from other players. Especially in the three points. Also, I think only way for Lakers to advance in this series is crazy performances from Luka and Lebron, like +35 ppg performances.
