It allows developers to accept GameCredits as a means of payment for in-game items/currencies, and gamers can purchase GameCredits using credit cards. Payments made in gamecredits cost the developer 10% rather than 30% in revenue. It's a big deal for the future of gaming.

MobileGo and GAME both serve unique purposes and in no way compete. In fact they have a symbiotic relationship, and a successful MobileGo will mean a successful GAME and vice versa. I expect big things out of both of them, but don't want to tell anyone to move out of GAME for MobileGo.
