Let us not make a big deal out of this. Not forgetting to update the terms would have prevented these concerns and discussions but it's still a minor thing. Things like this happens to any big company or any reputable gambling platform.
I am saying exactly that, it is cheeky but it is valid for every single casino which is why it is not really that shocking. So that is why we end up with something that nobody really should be shocked with, because it is something that we all know all too very well. However just because every single casino does it doesn't make it a difference because any casino could come up with a prevention method and handle this a lot better.
Instead of taking the money from scammers which is justified because they tried to scam a casino and lost their money so I understand, you could still find a method to prevent people to even try to scam, that would be a better way to stop, less cheeky. However I agree 100% that this is a very minor thing and not important and all the casinos are doing it so what I am saying is not specific to bitsler at all and definitely about crypto casinos in general.
It is not about being cheeky or being valid, it is about not being possible at all. You think that there is a prevention possibility but it is not available, all these people are not doing something cheeky because they just want the money, they are doing it because there is no way to prevent it. Let's take double spenders for example, they double spend, if they lose they end up getting their money back from the double spend, if they win then they let it be and then take the winning bet out, so in this case they either win or lose nothing, that is how it works.
Technically speaking there is no way to "prevent" it, but it is obvious when they do it, so what can you do? You catch them after you do it. Think about it like laws in a nation, you rarely ever stop people from committing a crime, but you can jail them after they do it, sort of like that.
