For some reason I can't edit the former staus.
However, whatever was going on at the colo - all sites are on the way back up.
Also watching for pulled and deleted posts, that is a very bad sign of an overbearing business model. Whether it is on subject or not, to pull that kind of stuff in Crypto! Wow is all I can say.
just FYI - haitch was NOT talking about deleted posts... but...
There are multiple places that are un-moderated. This particular thread isn't one of them. Also, the ONLY posts that are EVER removed, are blatant attacks on other users, name calling, etc. If you're against the removal of these types of things, I'm not really sure what to say about that. It doesn't contribute to anything, it makes the whole community look bad based on the actions of certain users, and it makes the coin look like an unfriendly place. This is not what we're going for.
Everyone is welcome, but calling people names, and bashing, and things of that nature, are not only rude, but uncalled for.
I too am guilty of these types of things in the past, but I like to think that I've moved on past my childish behavior, and am now working on a serious project looking to gain serious merit, and things like name calling belong on the playground of elementary schools, and actually, they don't even belong there.
I don't think that acting like a 5 year old, and calling people names over posts in a forum, is something that investors want to see, and thus, on the rare occasions they happen in our community, they will be removed.
If you'd like, feel free to start your own thread and call it 'childish name calling thread' or the like, then feel free to call anyone whatever you'd like. But not here.
Saying that it's ridiculous to remove posts that don't have anything to do with the subject matter whatsoever, and are blatant attacks on other community members, is ridiculous.
Go ahead and 'watch for removed posts' all you want, but you'll see none, until someone decides their smartest move is to start bashing someone, and totally deviates from the subject matter related to BURST. At that point, you'll see the thread removed.
Overbearing business model?
Since when is BURST a business? This is most certainly NOT a business, it is a community based project, by the people for the people. This thread is a moderated one, everyone knows that. Everyone also knows that I've literally removed posts about 4 times total, and every one of those times, it was because a community member decided their best course of action, was to call someone a name as if they were not quite into puberty yet. Our community will not be one that bashes each other, if that's an issue for you, the way you came in... the opposite of that, is the way out!
Have a great day!
