Yea, I have seen it too.... I wonder how many of these things are related to shills doing things to discredit Bitcoin. If these companies are willing to pay

people to bad mouth Bitcoin, they would also be willing to fund fake scams to discredit Bitcoin. This is all speculation and conspiracy theory at this time,

but it's not entirely impossible either. Let's put it this way, I would not be surprised at all, if it all gets revealed later. 

Hey I was pretty much saying this on reddit not long ago. So much spam and phishing sites are circulating lately. I wonder if this really is the case.

The best we can do for now, until some sort of verification service can be developed to help identify legitimate businesses, would be to visit this site and to see if it is on the bad list. http://www.badbitcoin.org/

Someone or a group of people with a good reputation and standing in the community should create a site, listing the legitimate businesses. I know this will be a bit controversial, but it could serve as a guideline to help people to use more trustworthy services.
