It looks like John McAfee had a lot of $XVG and he decided to sell them expensive. I do not argue with the fact that the project is excellent, but his tweet caused a large influx of buyers.

What kind of stupid and uneducated question is that? XVG would need a couple more leg ups before hitting one dollar. Surely it won't happen anytime soon, i.e. next 6 months (although nothing is impossible). And there is no "XVG dump" as it is, the BTC corrected heavily and brought down all of the top altcoins along with it. Just look at cmc, pretty much eveything in the top 50 is dropping. A good sign is that XVG is still holding its top 30 position, which means it's not losing its market cap faster than other top altcoins.

And please refer to the speculation board for that kind of discussion, as someone else previously mentioned. This thread is mostly for discussing announcements, future development and interacting with the devs.

 8)OK he made a big publicity but if he kept his XVG up to 1 $ he earned more ... This teaches that we need in XVG a Good Marketing team that promotes Verge in the Informatic Artistic
    Music Sector ..... And even giving him a place in Ledger Nano S would be 20sat more hahahahahaha

c'mon it's the whole market who raised fastly, you're just talking about Verge without having the correct point of view. Check the entire market today and could say the same thing for each coin listed...

It's blood on the streets all over the whole cryptomarket now, there is nothing we can do, only wait.
