I am wondering: if it were to download a trojan from the site and/or submit some files from your hard-drive together with your answers, would this have been detected by virustotal.com..?

I am not telling it did, but I am a bit worried, and so is my question. Anyone has knowledge on how virus scans work, and whether they detect such behavior?
