Here are some of the best accounts for Bitcoin news: @CoinTelegraph, @coindesk, @CryptoCoinsNews, @newsbtc, @bitcoinist. There are tons of other cool accounts from regular people but these are the best for more 'official' news. And it's pure BTC news, they won't spam you with anything else.

The good thing about following them is that they also follow back 
even those new coins today, they also follow back such as Lisk. I noticed coin developers follow back because it sends a text message to my phone. It helps if you also do twitter campaigns.
