10:00PM eastern standard time, the timer is correct. We seem to be having problems with nodes on the testnet, but it should be resolved by release. Everything else is going well. (Will fix GUI dependencies when I get home).

BUT ... you're not going to be able to use them until this coin gets a pool. So as far as I know launch will be CPU wallet mining only.

It's because one of our nodes recently started having problems. I'm in the process of setting up 2 more servers to host nodes, so we'll have 3 in total, one in the East Coast and two in London. I'll keep you updated, it'll be up before release.

The testnet was updated with 3 nodes! After release, these nodes will host the real blockchain. Less than 3 hours until release, testnet should be fully functional, so feel free to do any testing.

The GUI wallet now comes with all required dependencies. I'll try to have a one file wallet on release, but if anything, I'll make an installer.

ATM, the GUI wallet is very basic and doesn't support mining. You need to run the CLI daemon (neptuniumtestnetd) and simplewallet (simplewallet) for native cpu mining. After you've made a wallet in simple wallet, type "start_mining x" (x is # of cpu cores). You can later open and import your .wallet file into the GUI wallet.
