    I saw some statistics off reddit showing this number to be lower(5 or 6%), I can't remember where the chart was though. It really depends on when you look at the figure, because each day that % of 21 btc holders probably goes down a little. I don't own 21, wish I did:(

    We can't really know if how many people own 21 bitcoins because there is a lot of user of bitcoin in the world and most of the times there are lucky people who can really make bitcoins fast and also in the other side the opposite person who is slow in making money but for me, the really important thing here is how we are determined in accumulating and also growing our bitcoins to reach a certain goal.

    Wow the price of the bitcoin last year was only $410 per coin and now the price is $2544 I hope to see this thread next year and see how much the price have changed,
    21 BITCOIN =21x$2,544 = $53,424 wow that is a huge amount of increase,
    But my answer to the topic is I think the ones who owns 21 BTC are the ones who are high roller in the gambling sites and some good trader cause they made some good profit,
    And I think  that there are other traders who earned a lot of BTC by holding some coin that they bought in a low price and just pump up,
    I heard from one of my friends that there was one coin that was only about 9k-10k sats and it pump up into 100+k sats I just don't know if the price is right but the pump that he told me was pretty high.

    I guess the number won't be allot and not exceed few thousands (which isn't few, but compared to the whole bitcoin community, it is small), some of them are the older holder keeping bitcoins from a long while, others are newer investors ready to go into a high risk investment with $60,000 value investment right now.
    Currently investing in BTC can yield unbelievable profit if another climb happen soon, but a crash in price is also possible.

    given that the price of BTC nowadays it's quite high, the percentage of people who have that amount of BTC it's quite low compared to the people who had that amount the last year (some of them are rich now haha  Grin)

    It is possible to make huge amount of money gambling,if the problem with these big gamblers is that they keep on rolling and end up loosing everything and there are smart people who has profited but the numbers are a few,but the real money is if you invested in some coin for the long term,then you are able to make good money.

    Not true at all. Bitcoin price don't matter much when it comes bitcoin holders. They are prime supporters of bitcoin community who are holding a very large fund of BTC. Those who sold their bitcoins are just opportunitists who took advantage of situations.

    I'm think if some people or company able to own most of bitcoin ...
    And what I'm fear is they can control bitcoin value in order to pump or dump everytime they want to

    That is ridiculous. 10% out of 10 million means 1 million. And if we take BTC100 as the average holding, then the total number of coins in this group's possession comes to BTC100 million, which is many times more than the total number of coins in circulation right now (16,396,325 according to coinmarketcap). I would rather go by the calculations made by rpietila. According to him, a total of 99,000 holders have more than BTC10 in their possession.

    Well all I can say is that in doing pretty well at the moment but I won't tell how much I'm currently holding. It's every ones dream to be one in a million but its Herculean and if I do get there I'll be excited but I'm not there yet and I can't state where I am currently.

    I think those who buy bitcoin a few years ago has that amount of bitcoin too, those people who are believes in bitcoin in that year has been millionaires now. And i think the bussiness man has their bitcoins too, because many of them are still believes and they think that bitcoin is a good investment.
