It's good to see that corporate like Disney is hiring a blockchain expert. But in the job description, it is nowhere written that they need a developer. They just need someone who knows a bit of PHP programming and have good experience in wordpress.


Probably they want to explore the possibility of blockchain technology. But it is not very good for the general people because if the big corporate starts pouring money into blockchain, the benefits will be restricted from the general people. Lets see what happens.

this is another reason why the adoption, must take off first from big company and not by average joe itself, they follow the mass, they do not initiate anything by themselves(talking about average joes)

Well one thing is sure,microsoft is allowing bitcoin with a third company involved,now Walt Disnew is investing at their own blockchain,soo which will be the next big company joining the technology involved at bitcoin ,the more companies comes into blockchain will be easy to them get exposed to bitcoin,and crypto world.

Good. This will raise more awareness about bitcoin and the whole crypto scene. I'm just wondering how that will be mined and what will be the block reward . Scrooge McDuck's stash ?

What was the number one performing currency in the world in 2015? Answer = Bitcoin .....It is just natural that companies will recognize an opportunity to make more money and start

investigating, to what degree.. this technology could be incorporated to include them. The Private Blockchain is the key word here, and we will most probably see another flavor of a permissioned

ledger. This will not be good for Bitcoin, and could even be bad... if they develop their own "currency" token to go with this new Private Blockchain.   

 It's not surprising me that big company like walt disney is interested on technlogy behind bitcoin yeah the blockchain,  but I wil surprise that they will adopted bitcoin officially, that's gonna be awesome, in fact not only walt disney some financial organization and some Banks  are interested on depelovment of the blockchain tech

When it's not related to Bitcoin what could it be I still wonder where they need someone for such job. And Disney coin can be successful with such name.

I believe that they wanna to reduce the money they waste inside their trasanctions,would be amazing if they accept bitcoin but well lets do step by step the fact they getting their own blockchain will expose crypto coins.

Seems like everyone wants their private blockchain now.

Well, its competition, so it's ok. But we will all know which one will win.

In this case it's not a competition.
It may be just a new POS coin and they can add whatever additional info they want on its blockchain.
Of course, it will exist only on Dissney's network.
