Recently, Uphold (formerly known as BitReserve) CEO Anthony Watson has revealed his intentions to sue prominent security expert and highly respected author of Mastering Bitcoin, Andreas Antonopoulos, for his use of the phrase The Internet of Money.
Antonopoulos has offered a minimum 1 bitcoin reward to anyone in the community that can find the earliest use and application of this phrase.Get more information's about this here :

Andreas could Oppose the application. You only need to be a person alleging to suffer harm if the registration were to be effected - to have standing in an opposition case. However, you must file that 30 days from publication. Uphold published Feb 2, 2016. Therefore, about three weeks ago on March 2 - period for opposition closed. Andreas could get an extension. But he'd have to show some reason. These are usually accepted even if the reason isn't so critical. So, Andreas best move is to allege he would be harmed in some way, and oppose the application with extension.
On his current path, he is trying to find some previous use. This does not prevent one from getting a trademark. Many, many trademarks are secured for things that have long existed. Andreas probably got this idea as it is similar to patent which does require originality.
I like Andreas. I'll help him if he contacts me.
Besides, who would sue Andreas? He seems like about the nicest guy out there. Uphold is going to make nothing but ill will from this stupid effort.
