Logically,you can still buy shit from Amazon using third party services like purse.io.More such services will be introduced in the near future.It barely matters for people like me weather Amazon will accept bitcoin or not as I'm buying my goods with my bitcoins anyway.I have pay few bucks extra but its worth the money.

Why spend bitcoin?  It's like those folks who want to trade using precious metals.   Bitcoin is best as a stire of value, unlike fiat, and it's completely inconvenient to use it as a currency.   That's what fiat is for. I won't be disappointed if Amazon never takes bitcoin.
