Is the wallet miner as effective as mining to supernova pool?
Users have reported that they found it more effective to solo mine as the payout is considerably larger, however with a Pool like ocminer's you will receive smaller amounts of coins more often.
For me the payout from the (Supernova) pool is about the same, maybe slightly more than the wallet's internal miner.
Maybe because the hashrate from the external miner is about 15-20% faster than the internal miner according to "hashespersec"
I did not try the other pool (Maxminer) yet but will do so too
The network is definitely very active, also with the auto-updater installable version we will include the external miner built in, that way you receive the extra performance boost. (Hence the delay of its release)
Soloming has slowed down the past couple days for me, might be almost time to switch to a pool
Multiple options are available, all are great methods.
