I have now set the Stake confirmations to 200 instead of 1440, so staking will now occur once the funds have been in the wallet for 6 hours and has 200 confirms

Is the Maximum Stake Age removed?
If no, small wallets will never stake.
That's the situation with me. I miss the highest staking period because all these problems with connections and I never staked. Now I have a small amount of coins (mining and buying) that they have no chance of staking because the weight never increases.
