It's not even a real airdrop, though, is it? I checked out the ANN thread, and it looks like you need to participate in the signature campaign to be part of the airdrop. Did I misunderstand? I'd like to get a little skin in the game with Deeponion, but have nothing to invest for another couple weeks. A real airdrop would be nice.
Technically, you're right. What sets it apart from other signature campaigns I've checked:
- you get coins on weekly basis
- majority of coin supply was premined AND most of the premine is distributed though the campaign
Of course, (1) has an important caveat: if you sell more than 10% of received coins, you are banished from all future weeks. Nevertheless, you can leave the campaign anytime you want and you won't loose any coins you have already received. I mean I don't know, whether or not this coin would succeed (I certainly hope it would) and I would certainly prefer less talk about airdrop, bounties and price speculations and more talk technology in its ANN thread, but this way of distributing premine is much better than most ICO's I've seen.
