And let me be perfectly clear, for the record.

I don't care if you support Trump of Hillary, but ask yourself, in your heart of hearts, do you REALLY think that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are the two best choices to become the leader of the free world? Hillary has definitely employed some shady practises, no doubt, I will not expend any energy trying to defend her actions deleting 33,000 e-mails while under investigation. At the same time, Trump has some serious character defects of his own. He thinks that global climate change, which is agreed upon by 97% of climate scientists worldwide according to NASA, is a ruse developed by the Chinese to hurt the American economy. That isn't really a moral or political argument, it's just stupid.

The fact is that America is home to the best Universities in the world, and they're responsible for more Nobel Award winners than any other country on earth. the USA has some SERIOUS brain power going on, so don't tell me that a former first lady and a wacky billionaire are the two best people to lead the most powerful country on the planet. I don't buy it. You shouldn't buy it either.

Unfortunately, as we've heard a thousand times: "that's just the way it is". The 2-party system has failed us. More often people don't vote for who they actually want, they're voting for a "lesser of 2 evils". I think that we can do better.

Imagine utilizing blockchain voting so that you could vote from your phone as easy as sending a text message. Do you realise how this would upset the balance of power in this world? Only 40% of eligible voters vote in the USA, which is pathetic. Imagine if that number could double to 80% when you remove all the barriers to casting the ballot. The 2-party system would be shattered. You could elect your local congressman no matter his party affiliation with the same ease of sending a tweet. And then they would be forced to actually hold their moral grounds, and vote for conscience on issues, instead of having to always tow the party line. That's what makes America's system superior to Parliamentary systems in my opinion, because you don't vote for a party, you vote for a candidate. You can scribble "Donald Duck" on your ballot, and it gets counted. In Canada for instance, we can only vote for a political party, and then that party installs their own leader.

The answer isn't in squabbling amongst ourselves about which of 2 corrupt candidates are better, they're both utter shit! But the way the system works, the people have little power to change it. And if you want to wait for a political party that's been established for hundreds of years to suddenly re-invent themselves from within, don't hold your breath. It will never happen. The change has to come from a fundamental change to the way people exercise their right to vote as American citizens.

So I hope I've made our position clear.

If you think that voting for a corrupt billionaire, or a corrupt politician is going to bring about "real change" then you're kidding yourself. If you want to bring the power in America back to the people, then you need to make their vote count. Voting with the blockchain is the only bullet-proof way to ensure everyone's voice is heard. Then watch how quick the establishment will scatter.
