No that is not likely. The reason theDAO caused a hardfork was both because of the ETH holders buying into the ICO and the risk of having the attacker controlling a whole lot of ETH when Ethereum goes to PoS. The Ethereum foundation would probably never want another hardfork just because of a small team screwing things up with the implementations of a ETH contract. Just see what kind of mess there is now with ETH and ETC.
