i MAY be wrong, but i BELIEVE what they have done is make the market FIRST available to the original ICO round 1 investors. These users were given "ants", which now have been converted to ANS and the market opened for THEM. you could ONLY have "ants" if you participated in round ONE of the ICO (2015 i think, and only offered to chinese?)

downloaded wallet, created a main adress, imported my private key from ico, went to ico query page and confiremd my private key. wallet is in sync for nearly 1 1/2 hour. no antshares in my wallet

There are also no sell orders so it was most likely the exchange themselves doing those previous orders
