Well, if you look it from the perspective that Bitcoin is available everywhere, in any country in the world, in digital form, than Bitcoin is already international currency.
Original purpose of bitcoin is not to replace offline money but to offer new, revolutionary way of payments online and it's vision for financial freedom and how to get rid from the banks.
So, I don't think really that Bitcoin will ever become ''true'' money and replace some official currency in the world, in any country.
That is exactly the case, we need to consider. Bitcoin is already being used globally so it can be considered international currency. I am kind of tired of seeing people asking when will bitcoin take over and change the currencies in the world.
Bitcoin and fiat aren't even the same thing.
