What if a criminal hacks an account of a hospital and asks for US dollars? Will US dollar be called a criminal currency after that? Absolutely not, then why that rule applies for bitcoin?
It is upto the person who uses a currency if what way he uses it, if someone uses it for well then it is good for himself and if someone uses it for bad actions then that will become bad for himself, just by some evil people using bitcoin in a bad way does not make the whole coin "the criminals currency".
