Compare the users of Paypal to bitcoins and you will get your answer. Paypal is still very popular and enjoy the highest number of users and comparatively bitcoin lacks users base at a moment and when it comes to payment system I think both Paypal and WU are tough competitors to bitcoins.

yes i also agree with you that still there is no competitor of bitcoin. bitcoin is still number one currency of the world and hope that it will remain as number crypto currency.

How do you distinguished that bitcoin is slow? In the past 2 years bitcoin value in around 300 - 400 dollars, for me the progress of bitcoin is great and not slow and if you invest on the past 2 years i think you feel that you are lucky with bitcoin.
And also i think that bitcoin has a competition because more other coin wanting to go on the top to replace bitcoin but bitcoin will remain number 1 because bitcoin has continuous adopted by more people in the world.

Bitcoin has a lot of competitors. There are so many altcoins in the market. I think the reason why said that bitcoin has no competition is because you cannot feel the other altcoins in the market. It is because bitcoin still reigns as number one. But the other altcoins is also improving like ethereum, dash and litecoin. Cryptocurrencies will be the future money and bitcoin will be the top among them. It is the mother of all altcoins. It has a bright future ahead.

There is a reason why they are called as altcoins, because bitcoin is much more valuable than them, you can check on the marketcap and you compared. With both bitcoin and altcoins marketcap are growing, that is a good indication for success. I believe there is no competition that is going on because they make each other's progress when they co-exist.
