Only blackbytes are anon. Blackbytes are private assets (like barrels of oil or pounds of gold). Blackbytes transcations do not appear in the public chain, they got recorded to a sidechain (pegged to the plublic chain). That's why (appart from initial distribution) you can only get Blackbytes from P2P trading and not from exchange (such as cryptopia). Check Whitepaper.
This sounds a bit strange to me. Meaning.. can't an exchange send/receive those blackbytes as P2P transfer then trade them as any other coin?
Exchanges handle anon coins too, well enough.
I am not a dev but a hub operator.
Help spread the network: in your wallet settings->hub set wss://byteball.fr/bb
Although the ANN post tells about hubs "the security doesnt matter much as all messages are end-to-end encrypted" so they are safe enough to use, many will miss that and, since you are Newbie, will not trust your hub.
Ask OP to add your hub address to ANN post, it will give it more strength. It's in his interest too after all.
