Guys, At this point, we think the community should be part of this decision making as this is a long term implementation.
Tipping going to users of the fame powered apps will come from a percentage of the block reward. this reward will be spread across all users with tips.
Example: if by the end of today, 100 FAME is generated and allocated for rewarding, this 100 FAME will be the total amount of FAME that can be tipped across all apps powered by FAME (regardless of the number of social apps running ontop of FAME) for the Next 24hrs. Tipping are just percentile based on the amount of FAME available for the day just so everyone get a share of FAME by the end of a 24hr window.
What percentage of the reward from mined blocks should be allocated for tipping daily? 10% 15% 20% 25% 30%
I voted for 30% simply because it will start off with the photo tipping app and it will attract more people to use Famecoin if there is a substantial reward.
Of course 10% would be better for the devs, but they could think about some advertisement implantation to generate higher revenue.
