I was digging around blockchain and I've come to the conclusion that KNC did actually dump $40m worth of bitcoins on the market.

Here are addresses owned by KNC:

Combined they have mined ~82,000 btc.

From the mining addresses the BTC is then sent to a few consolidation wallets the largest of which is 1CU8DYQxwBfq7UTWdopxsodimYwZMVXcbh

From there it looks like just about all the BTC is sent to exchange wallets.

this is how the game is played with edgar and others...never ever read edgar once he is on ignore....then just go about posting etc
out of say every 5 or so posts i see edgar posting a reply ..i assume it is not in praise of whatever i'm posting....whatever you do
never look at edgars posts it defeats the purpose of the game...like cheating at solitare you always feel bad afterwards..the

it is a fun game of 'ignore the troll' they are happy cause they can lambaste you up/down/sideways ..you are happy cause you
just see theingore on their postings after your postings...knowing you got them riled up for some reason and don't peak again
like solitare.thus how i play the game

and occasionally toss them a bone (like the dog) to keep them motivated in their angst/tirade/etc gets their blood rate up
clears out all that gunk out of the arteries....probably add years to their life...

you are happy you just see him on ignore and chuckle

all is well in the world.......ships passing in the night and all that....

/ignore is a great option on bitcoin talk if used correctly in the above manner...........too bad their is not such an option for 'world peace'

I wonder if this isn't causing the current price of BTC to take a nose-dive, if they sold off $40m of coin.

No surprise there, they straight up said they were.

This is to be expected from a company that has outright divulged they have no real interest in BTC except as a vehicle to acquire more fiat.  I wonder if they could have gotten a better return by managing their exchange sales instead of outright dumping but I assume their dollar investors are not interested in BTC's long term appreciation.  Means to an end and all.

Wait for the cheap coins and try to discern if there is a pattern to KnC's sales, could save you a couple of %.  I for one cannot wait for halving day to see how this all plays out.

Are BTC payments for hardware included in the 82,000 BTC?

Status changed to shipped. Received UPS tracking info.

Of course KnC have sold all the bitcoins they have mined. They do not care about the value of a bitcoin in the future, they see $$$ in those blocks and that what they are working for.
