Yes you can run two masternodes, but not from the same IP.
If you run the masternode from your PC you don't have to pay nothing, but you support the cost electricity because you must keep the wallet/PC running 24/7. Alternatively you can use VPS services for a fee of 96$ per year or 8$/month on http://www.nodeshare.in/.
On VPS you can run as much masternodes as you wish.

If you join the slack, there a masternode support channel, where you can find some basic support.

I have a few masternodes running, I'm not much skilled on that, so I'm using the hosting service.

You need 1 ip per masternode.

Or Node-VPS for 5 dollars amonth, or 60 dollars a year.

As long as the development Team is still active and still on schedule to produce results, I wouldn't worry about that too much, on the contrary I would look at this an an advantage re entry point to buy them cheap before there IS more significant news and a price hike. Unless you are in a hurry to sell yourself, low prices means more discount shopping!
