To whom it may concern,
Lately, some concerns have been brought to our attention in respect to former business activities of one of BFL's executives, Sonny Vleisides. We regard it of utmost importance to emphasize that ... blah, blah, blah.
After studying the subjects, Laissez Faire City, the ~$50M lotto scheme ripping off mostly the elderly, and stealing millions via his online gambling concerns, we see no fault in Mr. Vleisides' past activities and regards the accusations as groundless. Mr. Vleisides pled guilty to the false charges receiving time served, a $100 fine, and an easily breakable 3-year probation, to ONLY put the issue not based on facts behind him.
Blah, blah, blah.
Besides, if he did anything wrong in his past, Sonny's on a good track now.
Thank you again for your alert involvement, and miners should be shipped out in two weeks according to queue as promised.

In case you missed it, the BFL Foundation is made up of its employees just like the Qtum Foundation. Ironic, eh?
Unless I'm mistaken, Qtum received over a million dollars in VC funding and supposedly has deep-pocket folks involved in their endeavor (over and beyond VC et al.), yet are seeking ICO funding. Same was true with BFL, albeit in hindsight thanks to my investigation, they were still selling pre-orders under the auspices that they needed the money so to build the damn in-two-weeks miners, all the while sitting on millions of dollars worth of bitcoins proven by the blockchain. Prior to shit hitting the fan, Sonny was liquidating millions through BitPay acting as an exchange, of which they are not - just a third-party payment provided. Again, all verified via the blockchain. No apologies for the digression in driving the point home.
Personally, I kept my nose outta Qtum's affairs here, in fact seeing no nefarious activities, even giving my blessing to those who privately sought my advice. Now, it's I that seems to have egg on my face for vouching for them. To them, I humbling apologize (5 or 6 folks, in case anybody's wondering).
