How much is the stake reward. Nice coin - crazy is also dumping like all alts versus BTC today!
Qtum uses a modified version of Proof-of-Stake 3.0, which you can find out about here:
http://earlz.net/view/2017/07/27/1904/the-missing-explanation-of-proof-of-stake-versionThe PoS mechanism rewards you for securing the Qtum network, which requires the use of your computational resources.
The reward schedule is 4 Qtum for a successfully staked block, which is paid out over 501 confirms. The current 'weight' of the network is 4.6 million, and there are approximately 700 blocks per day. This means if you would like to calculate how long it will take to stake a block, multiply your total amount of Qtum by 700. If your number is above 4.6 million, you should stake a block in a day or less (it could take longer or shorter)
Please keep in mind it takes 10 confirms for your Qtum to become 'spendable' in your wallet, but 500 confirms before they attempt to stake a block. Each confirmation lasts approximately 2 minutes. Also note that if your computer goes to sleep, or you turn it off, you will not stake. The wallet needs to be online at all times.
