Is GB for Giga byteball and GBB for Giga black byteball? And giga is the volume denominator i presume?

Byteball's built-in assets are bytes and blackbytes (you can create your own). GB is GigaByte and GBB is GigaBlackByte. 1 GB = 1 000 000 000 byte, that's the unit used on exchanges. Yes, at current rates 1 BTC would buy around what you said.
