DOGE was the first used to test the system etc, since it was a rather "cheap" yet very known currency so in case of trouble the loss would not be as huge as if you did a huge run of BTC cards

Afaik none of these prototype cards have been sold, since they were basically given out to employees I'm sure they're sitting in personal collections or are forgotten. I also doubt any more will be sold.

I agree that the price can be hard to figure out, guess we'll have to see where this one lands
