Do you remember what it felt like the very first time you sent out a Bitcoin transaction to another address in your life? For some, it might have been an easy thing to do, especially for the geeks who were here when Bitcoin was born and it had not been valued and traded against fiat currency as following soon after, yet for others it can be very confusing to get things right.
Were you filled more with happiness, excitement or fear when you clicked that 'send' button? And in which year was it when that happened? Did it it turn out just fine, did your transaction arrive where intended?
I remember it like it was yesterday, but really it was at the end of 2015. I had just learned about Bitcoin from one of my friends who was an early investor, so I started going onto some faucets and earning a small amount of Bitcoin. Soon I was at about 0.01, and my friend called me up and said there was this website where you could make free profit, at the time I didn't know it was a ponzi scheme, but after I deposited it became apparent. Luckily for me, I was able to make some profit, but I am never going to put any money into a ponzi website ever again.
