Bitcoin Tax legislation re-introduced in US:

It is revenue-positive, so should pass easily, imho.

Positive:

1. $300 deminimis exception per tx with up to $5000 total/year, inflation adjusted, so no need to calculate tax on small purchases (if bought with bitcoin).
2. Mining taxation only upon a sell of bitcoin.
3. Lending not taxable by itself. profit is taxable, of course (important for lenders)

Negative (somewhat)

1. wash sale rule (30 days) would be in effect.

Overall: great if it passes.
