Bitcoin transaction confirmation depends on the traffic of transactions and fees paid by the bitcoin users. In other words, bitcoin transaction confirmation model is dynamic and varies from time to time (period of confirmation). As of now, there are around 5,000 unconfirmed transactions (which is far better than the situation 10 days ago) but still, we cannot be sure that this situation will remain like this forever so this is one of the characteristics of it.

Yes it's great to have faster Bitcoin confirmations because the slow pace was driving my nerves crazy plus the division's it was creating by offering quicker confirmations for huger payments and slower confirmations for normal/slow transactions; all in all its good today.

I noticed that too and even when I apply small transaction fee to the sending amount it still sends and confirms as fast like it was before sending the same amount.
I do not know why it slowed down and even stopped the send to complete just a couple of days before.

if the situation will stay better in future, i think we don't have to be worried when we want to send bitcoin to other wallet, i hope that the transaction will be fast confirming so there is no waiting time to long to see the completed confirmation. i am sure that there will be more than 1,000 transaction to be confirmed in a day but if the traffic is not busy and the blockchain is working good, then 1,000 transaction will be completed in short of time and it is good for bitcoin user itself.

There is no such a thing as "having faster Bitcoin confirmations". You either include a proper fee and greatly increase your chances of having your transaction confirmed within 2 blocks, or you be stingy and include a poor fee where you may end up waiting for plenty of hours, till in some cases a whole day or more. But still, regardless of the fees, you are still depending on how frequent pools solve blocks at the time you send your transaction. You have to understand that micro/faucet transactions are mostly seen as spammy/dusty, and thus they mostly don't get picked up by pools, unless you make them pick it up due to a hefty fee.

This is good news and we hope it stays this way and not mess up like a couple of weeks ago because one must important factor that drew some of us to Bitcoin was the fact that the transaction fees per transfer was low and it's confirmations were faster unlike recently.

Alot of improvement from what we have few days back. Even in prices, I will say I was depressed the way bitcoin price drop sharply after exchangers in china has meeting with people bank of china. Bitcoin price drop more than a hundred dollar and confirmation was slower than before. But today the price has gone up again hope to see more improvement.

In my experience here by doing trade in the market trading the exchange that I usually used was novaexchange, bittrex, and yobit, you don't need to wait long  before it confirms. And most of the time many of the unconfirmed transactions happened if the fee charge was very low sometimes it takes 2 to 3 days before it confirms in the blockchain.

At the time of writing this post, there are around 3,000 unconfirmed transactions and I think even if a transaction takes 24 hours to get confirmed, I will still prefer bitcoin as it will be faster and cheaper than other payment options on the international level. Using any other method would surely cost more charges than that of bitcoin so I think 24 hours is fine on the international level but it would be a headache for local transactions.
