Bitcoin travels at spectrum space. Unless all the internet network providers are down or a quarter of them are down Bitcoin will still survive. Internet is distributed worldwide and back up by multimillion companies using space satellites. Internet won't go down when two countries at war but if the damage will be at the databases and the satellites of network providers, internet will be no more.
Another possibility of world war is in the world of cyberwarfare, if the hackers attack most of the FBI, CIA, Google, Microsoft, yahoo, and other big companies that will affect government and powerful people's documents and files I think they will mandate to stop the whole internet and this will be a long maintenance in the network. Bitcoin will hold off too when that happens. There will be a great chaos in physical world and cyberspace when there will be world war three. That time it will be a life and death situation.
Bitcoin will be disregarded when that time come even paper money will not be accepted because the way of exchange will be physical. (E.G. food to food, medicine to medicine, water to protection.)

That is a big if, but if world war started bitcoin will be able to survive somehow but the value of it will plummet as people decide they prefer to eat instead of speculating with bitcoin during such difficult times.

Simple, it will be attacked and there wouldn't core Devs to develop it. Interest will dwindle down and they are likely to be incidents of stolen wallets and keys. Everything will be messy in such an instance and that's why I pray against that happening.

If a world war starts, the internet infrastructure would likely be the first to be disrupted. Without the internet, Bitcoin will not work and Bitcoin would cease to exist. I doubt you would have electricity if there is a war in the first place so the nodes and the miners would be down too.
Impossible, it isn't as easy as pushing a switch and nodes wouldn't run without electricity.

If there was a World War, I really wouldn't have to even have my computer on because there would be far more things that needs working on other than discussing things online and lurking in forums. Bitcoin would just die off if there wasn't any internet access depending on the type of war it is. Bitcoin could survive the World War if the internet stays up and the people of the world use the payment system within the underground stores.

Probably some countries will use bitcoins to buy more weapons and fighter jets. In a case of world war, many areas will be out of coverage so we might face trouble if miners will go out of connectivity area.

Or nothing will happen at all for bitcoin directly as the governments around the world will be busy in fighting with each other, it will affect the economic relations of the world and impact will be indirectly on us.

I'm thinking if there's a world war in the nuclear age I don't give a shit what happens to any form of money. My only concerns will be, does this cave in this mountain go deep enough and should I have looted one more grocery store before I drove to this cave.

If the world war happens, the bitcoin network will remain. It will not affected by the issues of world war because its conclude only soldier but I think we cannot used bitcoin on that because the connection between our country and others will temporary stop so that we can't cashout our bitcoin.
