If it don't happen this month, it will certainly happen next month. The hype of ETF is driving the price high. People are ignoring the fact that transactions are stuck and already 100K unconfirmed. There are still too much hype regardless. So I think it will really surpass the price of gold.

Yes I'm hopeful we will realize this feet this month even though we have a few days more to the end of the month. I think Bitcoin is doing well and even though the ETF might not be passed yet I still believe Bitcoin can surpass gold in the next few days judging by the current trend in price rise.

Easily that will be crossed and I can almost guarantee people that the new base price ( which for me till now was 700$ , around that btc always remains ) will be approx 1200 USD and only higher and higher.

I have heard a rumor that bitcoin would pump $1500 next pump, so maybe, bitcoin can overtake the price of Gold next month, but I am not sure about that. Let's just wait and see what will happen tp the bitcoins price next month, because we can't know what will happen in the future, all we can do is to continuously support bitcoin no matter what. And for me, every month since bitcoin have been invented are the "Golden" months for me, because bitcoin changed me, supporting me, all the time, since I have started doing it.

What's going to happen next is we don't know, expecting too much is not a good idea because we might just get disappointed and we might lose something because of too much expectations on it, like for example, you didn't convert your bitcoin right now because you thought that bitcoins price would be higher than its price right, but you are wrong, because the other day, bitcoins price just got DUMP, something like that.

BTC definetly has the potential to overtake gold.. but id ont think this will happen in february.
Maybe in March April but not in februrary.
IMO time has already come for BTC to overtake gold..

Even if it would overtake gold , people will still buy gold as bitcoin prices cannot be predicted or trusted.
The prices of bitcoin fluctuate a lot whereas the prices of gold remain almost the same.
Like the prices of gold just changes a bit like there are only few minor changes here and there.
But in case of bitcoin it is 900 USD on day and the other day it is 1100 vice versa.
But yes , buying bitcoins when the prices are less is always a good option.
As when the prices go up you can make huge profits.
But it is very hard for bitcoin to overtake gold if thought maturely.

It is completely Outstanding how bitcoin managed to go up like this and it is my first time seeing that it is still goes up every single hours that I am observing it, well I could think it will never stop when February ends cause there are speculation that it will go down the time it reaches the limit of the month of march.

In long term, it will surely happen. But just see the current rise in bitcoin prices for the last 4 months. We have been seeing a massive increase in bitcoin prices. Only few times it has dumped but that dump is not for long and it again rises. This shows the bitcoin is not stabliizing to 1000$ + and not forget about prices likes 200$ , 300$ etc

Btc will not only surpass gold this month but by the end of this year it will be almost 10x of gold price irrespective of SEC approval or not.
