I wanted to know if this metric is helpful?   Miners Index = Mined coins + Fees (updated in real time ~10 min)

I recently included that metric because it appears to be useful for miners in general and also to others for general curiosity. Now of course if a "mining group" earns that reward on that solved block then generally that exactly amount is dispersed among all in that group based on whatever their terms are, but if you are a sole miner with some sort of massive infrastructure, each time you solve a block you will know in real time exactly what it's worth converted to other currency.   As someone in Reddit pointed out to me :  "most pools keep the transaction fees for themselves"

That's true,  but that's unsustainable for any pool as fees start to become more and more important as the reward drops over the years.
